Day 1: Marrakech’s Craft Heritage

Upon arrival in Marrakech, you'll be welcomed and transferred to your accommodation. The day begins with a gentle introduction to the city’s rich artisan culture.  You'll embark on a guided walking tour through the Medina, where you’ll explore traditional souks and learn about the history of Moroccan craftsmanship. This immersive orientation includes behind-the-scenes access to workshops that specialize in leather, pottery, and metalwork, offering a rare glimpse into the tools and techniques passed down through generations.

 

Day 2: Hands-On Workshop with Master Craftspeople

Today is dedicated to in-depth, hands-on learning. After breakfast, you’ll begin your chosen artisan masterclass—options include pottery, leatherwork, textiles, or metalwork. Under the close guidance of a master craftsperson, you’ll learn foundational techniques and begin crafting your piece. The workshop takes place in a traditional atelier, providing an authentic and inspiring setting. After a break for lunch in a local café, the afternoon session continues your project work. The day ends with a reflective group discussion about the creative process and the cultural significance of Moroccan crafts.

 

Day 3: Project Completion and Farewell

The final day focuses on completing your artisan project. You'll spend the morning refining your piece, adding finishing touches, and learning about the final stages of traditional production. If time allows, you may visit another specialized workshop or meet additional local artisans. In the afternoon, you’ll present your finished work during a relaxed showcase. Departure can be arranged in the evening or the following morning.
